Tros yr Afon is a gorgeous Georgian cottage that sleeps up to six adults and two infants in three bedrooms.
Steeped in history, but modernised to ensure comfort, this cottage is tucked quietly behind a garden but within easy strolling distance of restaurants, pubs, shops and places to visit - including Beaumaris Castle. With sea and mountain views to enjoy, the window seats are a firm favourite with guests.
Open the door to a deceptively large cottage with a spacious downstairs bedroom with super king-size bed, reading chair, television and doors to the front garden. Grab a cup of coffee and open the French doors to enjoy the morning. Breakfast al fresco to make the most of sunny days. With your own shower room downstairs it makes multi family stays easy.
A fully equipped, light filled, kitchen allows families and friends to dine in with ease should they so wish, but with so many restaurants and pubs within walking distance it may not be a priority.
A toy filled playroom is the icing on the cake for those with children, for winding down at the end of the day moments to rainy day pauses. With the downstairs shower room just off this room life is simple when young children are staying. There are buckets and spades to borrow, and even spare bibs in the cupboard, we just want you to pack less and enjoy your holiday more.
Up the curved Georgian staircase sits a mid-landing bathroom - leisurely baths are a must on holiday and with constant hot water they can be for as long as you wish. Up a few more stairs and you will find a king-size bedroom with stunning sea and mountain views, leave the curtains open for spectacular sunrises. A final bedroom has two full size single beds - for adults or children, all will sleep well.
The final room ensures the views are enjoyed to their fullest. The sitting room has plenty of sofa space, an open fire and two window seats that request you do nothing more than sit and watch the colours change over the mountains and along the Menai Strait. Games, dvds, bluetooth speaker, television, books, magazines or just catching up with news - this room is just perfect for much longed for get-togethers or peaceful moments.
Down the stairs again, past the utility room and out across the courtyard - open the door to the old fisherman's cottage and walk through to the secret garden. Here peace is a priority - just bird song to keep you company, a world away from anywhere. Fruit trees offer Autumn apples or summer shade. A great garden for football kick arounds, picnics or secret snoozes.
With private off road parking for two cars, two gardens and views to write home about we know you will enjoy staying at Tros yr Afon.
