Luxurious snug Cottage in stunning rural location

Forming one side of the elegantly restored courtyard, Valley View offers guests a spacious, uplifting self-catering home for 3. The large, elongated bedroom with super king-size bed and full sized single bed overlooks ancient wooded hills and sloping farmland. With its fresh en-suite shower room and compact, well equipped kitchen, east facing terrace and access into the quadrangle, there are many enjoyable places to rest and relax in this humble holiday abode.

Free on site parking, EV chargers and a superb WiFi connection make accessing the property and the wider world very easy. Those looking for a tranquil rural break can disappear into 55 acres of unspoilt beauty, dabble in the streams, sun themselves by the wildlife ponds or help tend to the rare breed sheep and other farm animals.

Fascinating days out and delicious meals can be found a plenty in an area rich in ancient history and natural landmarks. Beyond Babington house and the historic village of Mells, made famous by little Jack Horner, lies the medieval Market Town of Frome home to the famous Artisan Market on the first Sunday of each month and the popular Cheese & Grain Music venue. The historic Royal City of Bath, Wells City and Cheddar Gorge are 30 minutes by car as is the stunning Longleat Safari Park, for which we can arrange discounted tickets for you, perfect for family outings and special celebrations.

“This place is magical, a must see and stay. The hosts amazing and the scenery you have to see for yourself."

Reviews for Valley View at Upper Vobster Farm

Meet the owner

Michael and Tricia Nicholson

When Tricia first visited the property she felt the potential of what the place could hold and always knew that it would be somewhere for people to come to. What's more, she saw the real purpose of the Farm as a place that opens its doors to share with all those looking for supportive accommodation away from home. Upper Vobster Farm is the family home of Tricia & Michael Nicholson. Today the farm house is surrounded by cottages, a barn and a traditional farm courtyard that people come to enjoy from all around the world.
