Step back into the past and pay a visit to the famous Iron Bridge, the world’s first iron cast bridge which opened in 1781. Spanning over the river Severn. Whilst there, why not take a tour around the Ironbridge Gorge and visit the nearby museums to learn about the vast history of the area.
Looking for something a bit different? Travel on the Severn Valley Railway, a stunning 16 mile railway line that runs an old steam train from Kidderminster in Worcestershire to Bridgnorth in Shropshire. You can hop on or off at any of the 6 stations along to route, running daily between May and October, and at weekends and in school holidays from February to December.
