How can you guarantee a relaxing family holiday with children?
We can’t make your little ones sleep through the night (or perhaps we can!) but with five children of our own and 25 years of providing family holidays at Croft this year, we’ve learnt a lot about what makes a wonderful family holiday!
Of course, we think our 10 beautifully renovated stone barns, most with log burners, offer unrivalled family holidays. Children love the animals and the indoor and outdoor play spaces set in 6 acres. Everyone loves the luxury Leisure Complex. Close to the coast there’s so much to explore.
A stunning location
North Pembrokeshire really is a little corner of paradise, with un-spoilt beaches just 4 miles away and rolling countryside all around (that’s why we moved here from London back in 1988).

“..the gorgeous goats, chickens, ducks, donkeys, sheep, pony, horse and pigs. The children were in their element. Every morning at 9.30am the kids went to feed the animals, which they loved and they also held the rabbits and guinea pigs. They also came back with a fresh egg each - perfect for breakfast!”

“Croft Farm is very well kitted out for young children being safe and secluded with plenty of space to run around as well as an indoor (shallow 3-4 ft) pool ….
Although all the cottages were full when we were there, the place never seemed crowded or even busy and we were often the only ones in the pool or the play barn, which made the holiday feel very chilled out and relaxing. “

The Barn is a beautifully restored traditional stone and slate farm building with original exposed beams and unevenly plastered walls. The Barn has an entrance porch leading into the living room with its wood burning stove for cooler months, comfy sofas and separate dining area. The kitchen, en-suite double bedroom, family bedroom and family bathroom are also on the ground floor. Upstairs in the loft is the twin bedroom with low ceilings. The Barn is semi-detached with The Dairy.

Talar Aur is a two storey house which is beautifully light inside and is unusually laid out as an upside-down house. The entrance porch leads to the hall off which are the 4 bedrooms and family bathroom. There is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom with beds that may be fully adapted to a superking bed upon request and 2 single bedrooms. Upstairs are the open plan kitchen with dining area, the living room with cosy Clearview wood burner and balcony overlooking the fields and garden. There's a further toilet upstairs too. Talar Aur has a private garden.

The Stable has a south facing aspect with secluded decking area. This delightful cottage is fully ground floor. It is entered through the front porch leading to the open plan sitting room with dining area characterised by the beams and pine mantelpiece. The adjoining fully equipped, open kitchen is set back in an alcove. There is a double bedroom and a room with bunk beds as well as a family bathroom.

The Hayloft is an upstairs holiday retreat reached by the original exterior slate staircase leading into the front porch. The beamed living room is very light with a large roof window and dorma window seat overlooking the garden and countryside. The fully equipped kitchen leads into the sitting room with dining area. The Hayloft has a double bedroom and a twin bed room with family bathroom.

The Cartwheel is a fully ground floor traditional stone and slate cottage with beamed ceilings. The front door leads from the garden to the country cottage style kitchen with dining table and chairs. The double bedroom and second bedroom with full sized bunk beds lead off the living room. There is also a family bathroom.

The Farmhouse is a fully self-contained wing of the farmhouse built on the site of a former inn. Five wide steps lead down into the private garden and the open porch. The sitting room has a Clearview wood burner with slate hearth and oak mantel. The dining table is within the fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs, one bedroom with twin beds and a bedroom with full sized bunk beds. The family shower room is also on the ground floor. Upstairs is the beautiful master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom featuring a corner bath with shower.

Croft House is the beautifully furnished former family home, the perfect place for groups and families to mark those big events in style (Golden Weddings, 60th birthdays). It has a private garden and holidaymakers may use all of the on-site facilities.
The fully equipped country kitchen with oil-fired range and large modern cooker leads off the light and airy dining room with long French oak table. Sleeping 12 in 6 bedrooms this house combines luxurious modern facilities with flexibility. There are two ground floor bedrooms; a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a bedroom with twin beds which are fully adaptable to a superking bed - this room also has a private bathroom and a private South facing conservatory. Upstairs there are two en-suite double bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed. There are 2 further twin bedrooms one of these can be fully converted to a superking sized bed.
The leather sofas and chairs and countryside views make the first floor living room the perfect place for relaxing with friends and family in the ambience and warmth of the log burning stove.

Meadow Cottage is fully ground floor and is situated 1 mile along a minor country road from the other cottages and leisure facilities, making it ideal for those who like to be a little apart.
As with all of the cottages at Croft Farm it is beautifully furnished and has a well kitted out kitchen. A corridor leads from the entrance porch to the comfortable living room with leather sofas and log burner. The dining table and chairs are positioned by the large bay window looking out over the beautiful open countryside to the sea and mountains beyond.
There is a bedroom with a kingsize bed; a single bedroom and a room with twin beds fully adaptable to make a superking size bed. With both a shower room and a separate bathroom this cottage is ideal for a small group or family of 5.
