These three cottages contrast traditional farm buildings in a secluded, rural setting with contemporary furnishing, art and technology. Recharge your batteries in Five Star, Gold Award luxury or by walking 8 miles of private tracks that connect with the 110 mile Nene Way. There are many excellent pubs and restaurants within easy reach with some selling beer from our own microbrewery.
All our guests refer to the peace and tranquillity of the cottages and their setting and we provide a welcome pack that includes sausages and bacon made on the farm and which enables you to have a light supper and breakfast the following day without needing to shop.
Being over four miles from the nearest shops, it is impractical to spend time here without a car, but we have planted several thousand trees on the farm so, when it comes to carbon footprint, you holiday here on the side of the angels.
Graham Sleeps 4
Has two double bedrooms, a bathroom, ensuite shower. Both bedrooms and the sitting room have French windows that open onto glorious south facing views.
Len Sleeps 4
Both double bedrooms share a south facing suntrap private patio. There is an ensuite shower and a bathroom.
Alice Sleeps 2
Has one double bedroom and a wetroom/bathroom. The sitting room, with a sofabed for a carer, has access to garden through south facing French windows. Alice is fully M3I compliant with adaptations that you will hardly notice if you don't need them.
Len and Alice interconnect to create a large three bedroomed, three bathroomed unit which is ideal for a family with one member who is less mobile than the rest and who may appreciate their own space.

Has two twin bedrooms each with south facing French windows opening onto the patio and garden area which provide glorious views over the valley. There is a bathroom and an en-suite shower. A fully equipped eat-in kitchen and art by, among others, John Piper, Ralph Fleck and Claudia Venn give a contemporary feel in a truly rural setting.

The sitting room contains paintings by Arturo di Stefano, Nik Pollard and Micol and opens to the west onto another garden so that you can catch the sun for much of the day. This cottage interconnects with Alice to create a large three bedroomed, three bathroomed unit which works for all the family, particularly if one couple is not as mobile as the rest.

Alice was our friend who lived in the village with her husband Len and who sadly suffered many years of crippling arthritis. They really wanted these buildings restored and we did so in her memory. It has a double bedroom, wetroom/bathroom and a sitting room with south facing French windows and glorious views. Art by Rachel Budd, Hughie O’Donoghue and Arturo di Stefano, amongst others, continues the contemporary feel. This cottage inter-connects with Len to create a large three bedroomed, three bathroomed unit which works for all the family, particularly if one couple is not as mobile as the rest. As mentioned above, Alice has a few features that make it particularly suitable for people with impaired mobility but you will hardly notice them if you don’t need them.
There is a sofa bed for a carer.
