Premier Cottages is a co-operative of the best independent luxury self-catering cottages in the British Isles. You don’t pay agency fees and book directly with the owner, allowing you to tailor your holiday to your requirements.
Every year, each Premier Cottage property is subjected to a rigorous quality assessment by their national tourist boards. Our holiday properties are also assessed by our recruitment team, made up of experienced owners, to ensure they reflect the highest standard of quality, service and facilities demanded by Premier Cottages.
We only accept those cottages who attain a high 4 or 5 star rating. There is no doubt that the Premier Cottages brochure and website are the hardest for any cottage owner to gain entry to. Inclusion is purely based on quality, not willingness to pay for advertising space.
In the last 6 years, Premier Cottages have dominated the prestigious National Self-Catering - Enjoy England Excellence Awards, also known as the ‘Tourism Oscars’ which are awarded to the best holiday cottage or cottage complex in the country. These are the highest accolades attainable by self-catering properties in English Tourism. Since 2004 no less than 4 properties featured in this brochure have won the top honour of a Gold Award, with 5 properties coming second with a Silver Award.
At the regional tourism level, this success and recognition of excellence continues; holiday properties featured in this brochure have also scooped 30 Gold and 8 Silver Awards since 2004.
