Historic Country Estate in the heart of Somerset

Step away from the everyday hurly-burly with a rural escape at Cossington Park, a historic home-away-from-home in the heart of beautiful Somerset.

Cossington Park is a perfect venue for special events and celebrations for groups of up to 18 adults or 25 of mixed ages.

There’s lots to do for guests of all ages both inside and out, with a library of around 5000 books, toys and games galore and a dedicated children’s play area in the grounds. Secluded seating in the 22 acres of beautiful grounds lends itself to contemplation or reading a good book.

With a range of special activities available both on-site and in the local area, guests can create a truly memorable experience. How about archery, falconry, an owl prowl, or a Victorian carriage ride across the Somerset Levels … or take to the air in a hot air balloon and enjoy the stunning scenery.

If you’re planning an extra special celebration, guests can take advantage of one our local caterers to plan that perfect meal.

Home to one family for 400 years, the house overflows with portraits and delicious antiques.

Propped against the 250-year-old Clementi piano is a Chinese bowl used to bath baby en-route home from India.

The grand old drawing room has cosy chaises-longues, shiny brasses and a wood burner.

In the Library artefacts from grandfather's ship adorn the fireplace and there is seating for 22 around two large antique tables.

The cosy Morning Room offers more seating, an extra TV, and games console.

Park House has 6 individually decorated bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

Park Cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms including an accessible ground floor bedroom and wheelchair-accessible wet room.

Park House and Park Cottage are available on their own or combined with exclusive use of the whole Cossington Park Estate.

Dogs are more than welcome!

Located in the peaceful village of Cossington on the edge of the Somerset Levels and Moors, Cossington Park is close to stunning countryside, historic Glastonbury, and the Cathedral city of Wells. The World Heritage City of Bath is just an hour away.
