The three bedrooms have luxurious beds and beautifully finished soft furnishings, the sitting room has comfy leather sofas and a plasma tv, all rooms have wonderful views either of the Steam railway or the Quantock Hills. Broadwood Farm is unique in its stunning location- up a mile long private road near Dunster - passing England's tallest tree on the way. The farmhouse is finished in a traditional country chic style and its six bedrooms can accommodate up to 12 plus small children in comfort and style.
Broadwood Farm has a lovely garden with stunning views and you can walk from miles form the door without needing a car at all! There is a private hot tub and a wooden play area for children.
Railway Cottage and Broadwood Farm provide perfect spot for both short breaks and longer holidays. There are many things to see and do, the fabulous West Somerset Railway of course, Dunster Castle, Cheddar Caves, Exeter, Bath and Bristol, Longleat and Hestercombe gardens. There are some wonderful beaches to visit form the local Blue Anchor and Kilve (ten mins) to the surfing beaches of North Devon such as Croyde and Woolacombe to the South coast with Lyme Regis, Beer and Branscombe for fossil hunters and the huge sandy expanse of Western Super Mare.
The walking is fantastic with Exmoor, The Quantock Hills, South West Coastal Path and the Coalridge Way easy to access. There is also many other outdoors opportunities, from Horse riding to quad biking, coasteering, clay pigeon shooting, mountain biking and golf.
