The hamlet of Monnington on Wye is charming - with St Marys church and the famous Monnington Mile (a magnificent avenue of Yew Trees stretching a mile).

The house and its facilities are superbly comfortable. The beds are frequently commented on for ensuring guests get a fantastic rest and a great stay.

The garden is large and has plenty of space to play badminton, kick a ball or run around. The south facing terrace with outdoor furniture for 20 is a lovely spot to enjoy long lazy lunches.

There are great local pubs and restaurants nearby, including the Stagg at Titley which has a Michelin star and Hugh Fearnley Whittingstalls' pub 'the Bridge'.

There are many activites all within 20 minutes - canoeing from Glasbury to Hay (a very pretty stretch of the Wye) is very popular; as is walking part of the Wye Valley Walk or mountain biking in the Brecon Beacons Taff Trail.

The house is a lovely place to relax and enjoy being with your friends and family.
