Half Term Events in East Sussex
I’m really looking forward to having the kids at home for half term because here in Sussex we’re spoilt for choice of things to do! The National Trust always comes up trumps, with Bodiam Castle celebrating Halloween with a Dragon Quest and craft activities, followed by a Crones Corner. The crazy Crones will be back with their amazing potions and lotions and you can listen to their stories or watch them brewing up their concoctions, but they say don’t be taken in by their charms……The fantastic Rare Breeds Centre at Woodchurch has loads to offer, with a ghost hunt around the farm; ‘Scare Glow’ a unique UV experience; Vunderbar the Wizard telling scary tales and singing spooky songs; and to top it all some ghoulish face painting. Drusillas Park, widely regarded as the best small zoo in the UK, is also celebrating Halloween with spooky happenings in Haunted Heights, Mummy Mayhem and creepy crawly encounters.
10 Best Places to go Stargazing in the Brecon Beacons
Come and stargaze in the Brecon Beacons on a clear night and see the Milky Way, major constellations, bright nebulas and sometimes-even meteor showers. With some of the highest quality dark skies in the UK, it’s the perfect destination for stargazers. See the infographic below for more information.
