1.  Cornwall’s Crealy Adventure Park 

Theme park rides, animals, forest walks and indoor play for that holiday no-no, rain. Kids will love it and be thoroughly exhausted at the end of the day!

2.  Bodmin and Wenford Railway

Great for young and old with themed weekends and restaurant rides, there is nothing quite like a real steam train.

3.  Eden Project

Ok, not really North Cornwall but worth a visit. The huge alien-like pods house tropical plants and they often have great activities for kids.

4.  Tintagel Castle

There is something quite intriguing about the ruins of this castle, jetting out with waves crashing you can imagine the Arthur legends.

5.  Screech Owl Sanctuary

Not just owls but meerkats, emus and falconry shows.

6.  Surf Schools

Water sports are such a fun way to enjoy Cornwall, with surf schools like Wavehunters on Polzeath beach or at Rock the Camel Ski School where you can get in the water whatever the weather.

7.  Minack theatre

Perhaps the best location to watch a play, with the backdrop of the roaring sea and the sun setting can only enhance a trip to the theatre! 

8.  Lanhydrock House

Beautifully grand National Trust house with formal gardens and rooms upon rooms to explore. With 20,000 items on display there is a lot to see and acres of woodland to let off steam.

9.  The Camel Trail

Right on Harbour House’s doorstep, cycle to Padstow and sample Rick Stein’s fish and chips or to Bodmin and do a little shopping, visit the prison or just enjoy the scenery. The famous cycle trail.

10.  St. Eval Kart Circuit

Wanna-be racing car drivers can come rain or shine and speed round this 1300m track great for family fun!
