Macclesfield Treacle Market - 21^st December 2014 is a quality Arts, Antiques, Crafts, Food and Drink Market, held on the cobbles of the historic old Marketplace in Macclesfield.  Macclesfield is known as Treacletown, referring to the centuries old accident when a horse drawn wagon overtuned, splilling its cargo of treacle onto the cobbles.  Come and enjoy the atmosphere and the entertainment.
