The open plan ground floor is extremely spacious and has Bose music system, Freeview flatscreen tv, DVD player/recorder, books and DVDs for you to use. The kitchen has everything you need from granite work tops, Multi-fuel Range cooker, fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, to microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. There is the added bonus of a furnished garden room at the other end of the charming walled garden.
The two bedrooms are each furnished with double Chinese style beds. Bedroom 1 is en suite and Bedroom 2’s bathroom is small but perfectly formed, each fitted with double-ended bath and drench shower over. Cotton bathrobes, hotel quality bedlinen and towels are provided. Also travel cots and Z beds can be reuqested.
The Granary is often booked in conjunction with others because its spacious downstairs area lends itself to get-togethers and entertaining.
A bonus is the sunny south-facing panelled garden room within the pretty, private and secure walled garden with seating and barbecue – here you can escape for a little ‘me’ time or let the children run riot with its games and dressing up box!
Belle Grove is on the southern fringe of the small village of Westhall, with shop/post office and down to earth, dog friendly pub serving pub grub and good beer. There are footpaths around the village with St Andrews Church - well worth a visit.
Halesworth is only 2 miles away with shops, eateries, old buildings, arts centre and vineyard - not to be missed.
Southwold is a charming & timeless seaside town, only 7.5 miles away. Sand and shingle beach, lighthouse, pier and shops to discover. The Electric Picture Palace, is great fun. You need to become a member but they offer seasonal membership for a small fee.
Many more wonderful places to visit such as, National Trust Nature Reserve, Minsmere Bird Sanctuary, Maritime Museum, Somerleyton Hall, Africa Alive Wildlife Park, Reedham Ferry and gateway to the Broads.
