Front line with stunning views across the Menai Strait to Snowdonia. The property has recently been renovated to a very high standard by antiques dealers and Interior designers Holly Johnson and her husband Benjamin Aardewerk. Filled with bespoke artwork, antiques and mid-century pieces, the property has a lovely unique style. Fabrics have all been sourced from leading design companies, super king beds sourced from Burgess beds and bedlinens are all from Tiele.
After a day on the beach or a hike in Snowdonia you can return to pure luxury. Ty Stabl has been designed as an upside down house to maximise the most amazing views. On entering you access a front porch great for discarding coats, boots or flip flops. A corridor leads you from the second hall down to two spacious bedrooms with super king-size beds. The green bedroom has a spacious en suite and access to a utility room with separate side entrance door. The pink bedroom, which can be converted into twins, has a shower room down the hall. Both rooms have sublime views of the menai straight and the mountains.
The first floor is a large open plan dining/living room with a seating area and a large dining table ideal for dinner parties. The seating area has a widescreen TV and a large gas fire ideal for cosy nights. However you will find it hard to take your eyes off the view through two huge sliding windows, which also leads onto a full length balcony, where you can lounge and relax whilst surveying the ever changing panoramic scene. Off the main reception room is a snug room, housing books and board games, great for quiet reading or to park the kids as this room has another TV. The top second floor houses the main bedroom with its large en suite bathroom with both bath and separate shower. A large picture window allows you to open the curtains each morning to the most splendid of views. Alongside this room is a secondary bedroom with two bunk beds for children's use only and a single bed, all three beds are full single bed-size. Great for keeping the younger kids close at night.
Outside just to the side of the main house there is the Annex, which sleeps two. There is a small en suite bathroom with shower and toilet, the annex has direct access to the communal garden. The Annex is very popular with guests who want a private hideaway for friends or with teenagers happy to escape parents. Ty Stabl has its own private gravelled patio with an outdoor table, couches, barbecue and loungers, which leads directly onto the large communal garden. However it also has its own little bridge which leads to a private garden alongside the stream.
Individual parking bays for up to 4 cars with the availability to use electric car charger (when booked in advance).
We are a five-minute walk away from the beautiful town Beaumaris, with lovely shops and a wide variety of restaurants and even a little bakery.
Let us not forget the famous Beaumaris Castle and the Beaumaris pier. From the pier there are different boat rides and fishing trips departing, which go up and down the Menai Strait, or on to the Irish Sea.
The Beaumaris Goal is a very interesting place to visit as it gives you an insight to the prison life in Victorian times.
There are two golf courses in the direct vicinity, a 9 hole course at Baron Hill Golf Club and a full 18 hole course at Henllys Golf Club, where they have a great grill restaurant, Harry's Bistro, also open to non-golfers.
