Stunning 5 Star cottage on a Farm - large garden

This delightful cottage has been refurbished to a luxury 5 star standard. All rooms have the benefit of characteristic original beams and countryside views.

This beautiful farm cottage is popular with all guests and has been refurbished and modernised throughout. Old features such as characteristic beams, flagstones and an inglenook fireplace create a warming and relaxing living area. The bedrooms are luxurious with deep pocket sprung Vi Spring mattresses. The garden is private and secure with a new alfresco dining area, barbecue and fire pit.

Location: the property is located in a quiet location 200 metres down a private drive at Eweleaze Farm. There is ample parking on the gravel area between the property and the Lake. Access to the front entrance is via a small gate and paved path with outside lighting.

Ground floor:

Entrance: the front porch has an area for boots and coats.

Hall: the entrance hallway is spacious with mirror and characteristic character radiator. The super fast WiFi router is located in this central area in order for signal to reach most of the property.

Kitchen and Dining: the Neptune fitted kitchen is well equipped and is dominated by an Everhot cooker which consists of 3 electric ovens, including warming oven, grill and hot plates. Appliances include integrated dishwasher, American fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and 4 slice toaster together with all useful cooking utensils. There is matching crockery, wine glasses, tumblers, etc. to cater for 6 persons. The black granite surfaces are ideal for preparing and serving food. The oak dining table positioned centrally in the room seats up to 6 comfortably. The flagstone floors and soft lighting and furnishings create a lovely relaxed environment.

Living area: to the left of the main front entrance is the sitting room with original features such as inglenook fireplace, woodburner, characteristic beams and doorways. There are 3 luxury sofas and quality soft furnishings. Flatscreen TV.

Utility: for laundry, a washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the Utility room which is also accessed via the back entrance. Perfect for extra storage with oak work surface and under-counter cabinets.

Garden: the garden is a secure, peaceful area with an extensive well kept lawn, fire pit and barbecue. For alfresco dining, the large terraced area with ample seating proves extremely popular to guests throughout the day and evening. The terrace can be a suntrap particularly in the afternoon and evening. Herbs are planted and guests are encouraged to take trimmings of mint, sage and thyme when in season.

Upstairs:

Bedroom 1 - ‘Kingfisher’ – master bedroom with en suite shower room: This double room is a beautifully furnished large proportioned master bedroom with en suite shower room. Super luxury king-size bed and sumptuous Vi-Spring mattress. Quality Egyptian linen and bath towels are provided. The room is spacious and well equipped with beautiful French painted solid furniture. Flat screen TV. Complimentary bath and shower soaps are provided. North facing window overlooking the garden lawn and woodland in the distance.

Bedroom 2 - ‘Swan’: This twin room is beautifully furnished with luxury single size beds and sumptuous Vi-Spring mattresses. Quality Egyptian linen and bath towels are provided. The room is spacious and well equipped with beautiful French painted solid furniture. Flat screen TV. North facing window overlooking the garden lawn and woodland in the distance.

Bedroom 3 - ‘Snipe’: This twin room is beautifully furnished attic room with twin beds and sumptuous Vi-Spring mattresses. Quality Egyptian linen and bath towels are provided. The room is spacious with flat screen TV.
