Self-catering, dog-friendly holiday accommodation suitable for short breaks, family holidays or large celebrations.

Gresham Hall Estate is the perfect countryside retreat, where you can relax and enjoy the very best of the English Countryside. We're right on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just 3 miles from the spectacular North Norfolk coastline.

Our properties have all be renovated within the last years to the highest standard. They have large private gardens and sumptuous welcome packs filled with local produce to greet you on arrival. Our properties are set in the heart of a working farm surrounded by woodland and are wonderfully peaceful with glorious walks, a tennis court and cosy fires to curl up in front of if the weather is bad.

Gresham Hall was built in 1907 with local bricks baked on the estate. Today it is the best of both worlds, Edwardian architecture, with all the mod-cons. Sleeping 10 in 5 bedrooms, 4 of which are ensuite and 1 downstairs with a bathroom across the hallway suitable for those who prefer not to climb stairs. This is perfect for multi-generational family holidays and spending time with family and friends. With large proportioned rooms and huge windows letting in the most glorious light and views across the lawns it is a lovely place to relax or celebrate a special occasion. There are cosy spaces dotted around perfect for curling up with a book or getting away from it all for a few minutes. Gresham Hall has a stunning large garden with outside dining for 10 and a hot tub bubbling away for the duration of your stay. The kitchen has an Aga, electric oven and hob and outside is a gas barbecue to cover all your catering needs.

Hall Cottage is the old chauffeur's cottage which recently underwent a full renovation in 2024. It is modern, bright and spacious with an enclosed garden perfect for children and dogs. Sleeping 10 across 6 bedrooms with 1 ensuite along with an open-plan kitchen/dining room and large sitting room there is plenty of space for everyone.

Both properties can be rented out together along with the wing apartments at Gresham Hall sleeping up to 30 guests. Hall Cottage and Gresham Hall share the long driveway and are within walking distance from each other.

There is so much to do during your holiday at Gresham Hall Estate. We are on the doorstep of some of North Norfolk's most spectacular beaches (as voted by Conde Nast) as well as many National Trust properties, Anne Boleyn's birthplace Blickling Hall amongst them. Sandringham is a nice day trip away as are the Norfolk Broads. We boast 2 Michelin star restaurants within striking distance as well as amazing seafood, fish and chips and of course, Cromer crab. For active guests nearby we have wind surfing, horse riding, archery, sailing, kayaking as well as cycling or walking the Pedder's Way, just a mile from us.

Meet the owner

Edward Clifton-Brown

Edward and his sister had an idyllic childhood growing up at Gresham Hall. In 2019 he and his wife Georgy moved back to North Norfolk to turn it into a holiday property so everyone could enjoy this special place. Edward and their Border Terriers head up the welcome team and Georgy, generally with two small boys in tow, is in charge of interior design and ensuring the gardens are havens for bugs, bees and butterflies. They have a strong local and eco ethos which you will see around the properties with glass bottles and refills used where possible as well as locally sourced products for the welcome packs. Hall Cottage has newly installed solar panels and Gresham Hall has a wood pellet boiler to keep the heating and water toasty.
