Beautifully renovated family & dog friendly home

Set on the edge of North Norfolk's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Hall Cottage has recently been renovated to the highest standard in the first half of 2024. It is bright and modern, sleeping 10 guests in 6 bedrooms, perfect for multi-generational family holidays and getaways with friends.

It has a state of the art open plan kitchen and dining room with French doors leading outside to a lovely enclosed garden with patio and outdoor dining area. The kitchen has a large island and induction hob perfect for hosting large family holidays.

It is a dog friendly property with dog bowl and treats provided and downstairs has a wipeable wooden floor. We do ask that dogs do not go upstairs or on furniture.

There is a large sitting room with log burner and Sky TV and space for 10 people to sit. Leading off this is a small single bedroom. There is a large utility room and statement downstairs shower room (our favourite room in the house!)

Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite shower room. There are two other bathrooms on the landing both with a bath and shower, one of which is walk in and the other over the bath. There are two double bedrooms, one has a zip and link bed which can be twins on request. There is also a twin bedroom and a single bedroom leading off the landing, perfect for a large family.

The large garden is completely enclosed and has a BBQ for summer stays. There are a number of beautiful walks right from property which is set in the heart of Gresham Hall Estate and on the edge of a wood.

We are very family friendly and have cots / highchairs / bed sides / pottys / loo seats / a bumbo / changing mat and sterilizers available on request.

We are 3 miles from the beach with many of our local beaches being dog friendly.

You can hire a local chef for a special occasion or book some beauty treatments to come to the house.

The pub is walking distance or a short drive away and serves good beer and good food.

Free tennis court available in the grounds.

Meet the owner

Edward Clifton-Brown

Edward and his sister had an idyllic childhood growing up at Gresham Hall. In 2019 he and his wife Georgy moved back to North Norfolk to turn it into a holiday property so everyone could enjoy this special place. Edward and their Border Terriers head up the welcome team and Georgy, generally with two small boys in tow, is in charge of interior design and ensuring the gardens are havens for bugs, bees and butterflies. They have a strong local and eco ethos which you will see around the properties with glass bottles and refills used where possible as well as locally sourced products for the welcome packs. Hall Cottage has newly installed solar panels and Gresham Hall has a wood pellet boiler to keep the heating and water toasty.
