The Stables cottage faces into Hall Farm’s ancient stone courtyard. It combines original 17th century features with modern comforts and stylish design. If you enjoy architecture then you will love the place’s character with vaulted ceilings and oak beams. This year we have redecorated and refurbished it with new carpets throughout, fresh wall colours and bespoke specialist lighting to give the place a distinctive and inviting feel.
A great feature of the Stables is its space. It offers guests generous living with a kitchen/dining area downstairs and living, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The kitchen is well equipped for those who relish cooking with all mod cons including both an Aga and a separate hob and oven.
Upstairs the large bedroom has views onto the garden and courtyard with a super king-size bed that can be split into two. The bathroom has a good shower and a heated towel rail for those vital warm towels. The living area features a cosy sofa, soft lighting, oriental rugs, original artwork, plus smart TV with netflix and fast WiFi.
At the back of the house there is large private shared garden with outdoor seating, firepit and barbecue area. For those who enjoy the ultimate treat we also have a freezer full of Geoff’s home-made ice cream. You are very welcome to help yourself.
Please note The Stables is suitable for children under 1 or over 12 years old.
