This superb barn conversion is wonderfully welcoming. On entering the cottage the impressive and inviting sitting room, formerly the old cart house, leads off the hall to the left. The fabulous high vaulted ceiling with exposed trusses, traditional wooden flooring, log burning stove inset in a lovely feature fireplace, and comfortable soft sofas make this a real “home from home” where it is so easy to relax and unwind. The separate attractive kitchen/dining area, also with high vaulted and beamed ceiling, is light, bright and fully equipped and has a pine farmhouse table to enjoy your mealtimes around. The pretty bedrooms lead off the hall and occupy the attached former stables, all with beamed ceilings, traditional wooden floors, luxurious pure cotton linen and pocket spring mattresses. There are two twin bedrooms on the first floor and a double bedroom on the ground floor. The stylish ground floor bathroom has a P shaped bath with plenty of hot water for a refreshing bath or shower, and there is an upstairs cloakroom. There are two flat screen TVs one in the sitting room one in the double bedroom. Full central heating ensures year-round comfort.
You will love the excellent range of facilities including fabulous indoor swimming pool, games room, outdoor play and space, comfort and serenity, and families with younger children will appreciate the nursery equipment helping you pack lighter.
You can wake to the sound of birdsong, enjoy a swim in the heated indoor pool or simply relax and unwind in this tranquil location; the sky is dark at night so you can see the stars too!
There are good eateries within a short drive including public houses, super fish and chips, and restaurants.
With our Master Cancel policy, you can cancel for any reason any time from 60 days up to 2 days before the start of your holiday, so you can book with confidence. This doesn’t cover you for the last 2 days before arrival, so we would still recommend that you get UK travel insurance (just in case you were unable to travel at the last minute, due to health reasons for example), but at least it does give peace of mind, and you can book with confidence.
