Four thoughtfully converted barns in East Devon’s hidden gem, Branscombe

Pitt Farm Branscombe is a 98 acre farm set within East Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A stroll through the fields or up the lane leads you to the footpaths along the Jurassic Coastline. Situated between two wonderful seaside locations Sidmouth and Beer, Branscombe is a quiet village perfect for families and their four legged friends to enjoy the beautiful English countryside.

Pitt Farm is a great base to explore all that Devon, Dorset and Somerset has to offer. Enjoy the local folk, beer and food festivals. Visit the popular city of Exeter or pop in for lunch at Hugh’s River Cottage canteen or HQ.

Branscombe beach is accessible via the coastal path or village lane which is suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. Two public houses, a tea room, the forge and seaside café, ‘The Sea Shanty’, are all within walking distance (the 14th century ‘Fountain Head Inn’ is less than 200m up the lane!). A meandering drive into Dorset takes you through many picturesque villages and on to West Bay another gateway to 95 miles of Jurassic Coastline.

Developed by three generations of the Gibbins family, Pitt Farm has been welcoming guests into the village for over half a century. Although no longer a working farm cattle often graze the surrounding boundaries. Birds, rabbits, deer, badgers and foxes can also be spotted.

Each property at Pitt Farm has been thoughtfully converted is well equipped. All are heated by our bio mass boiler with the latest of our conversions having underfloor heating in every room. Clean white laundry is provided for every guest and with the owners living on site, any extra need can be catered for.
