Rhos Country Cottages are situated north of Criccieth town with its castle, beach, interesting quaint shops and excellent restaurants, an ideal location between the stunning Snowdonia mountains and coast.

These traditional Welsh stone built country cottages and farmhouses each have their very own idyllic garden and grounds amidst 200 acres of land which runs down to the River Dwyfach with its own fishing and shooting rights. Some holiday cottages have its own snooker room, or a private sauna or Jacuzzi bath.

All cottages have safe cycle storage facilities, and are located within a 30 minutes drive to Snowdon Mountain Railway, Portmeirion, Harlech and Caernarfon Castles, Zip World and more!

Rhos Ddu and Rhos Wen

These luxury holiday cottages are located less than 5 miles north of Criccieth and Porthmadog, near to LLanystumdwy, the boyhood village of Lloyd George, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Also in easy reach is the beautiful Cwm Pennant - immortalised in several Welsh works of literature. To the west is the beautifully Lleyn Peninsula. What's more, the cottages are ideally located for exploring the rugged beauty of the Snowdonia National Park. Within a 30 minutes drive you will find the impressive Harlech and Caernarfon Castles, the world-renowned Italianate village of Portmeirion, and the Great Little Train ride from Porthmadog to the slate quarry museum at Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Hendre

Hendre is a characterful luxury holiday cottage tucked away down a narrow single farm track, in complete seclusion. It's dark skies location is so ideal for star gazing. This cottage is just two miles from the nearest restaurant and country inn, and less than 5 miles from the castle-crowned town of Criccieth, with its picturesque beach and interesting shops.

Betws Bach

Situated four and a half miles north of Criccieth, just off the B4411 road at Rhoslan, you'll find luxury self-catering holiday cottage Betws Bach. The location of this cottage provides a perfect central base from which you can tour Snowdonia, the remote Lleyn Peninsula and the Cambrian/Cardigan Bay. The cottage is situated in its own tranquil surroundings, with large private secluded gardens with uninterrupted views of Snowdon and the National Park. From the cottage door, you can walk the Lleyn Coastal Path or cycle along one of the areas cycling routes which can join up with the cycle track that takes you to the Royal Town of Caernarfon. On the adjoining 180 acres of private land, rough shooting can be done by arrangement and also fishing for Brown Trout on a mile stretch of the River Dwyfach that flows through the farmland.

Anwen Jones

Welcome - the Jones's Family are now the third generation to work and run the Rhos Cottages and have farmed the surrounding 180 acres for a very long time. We enjoy meeting people from all over the U.K and from other countries across the world. Anwen enjoys looking after the interiors of each cottage, while husband Bleddyn looks after the grounds. As a family we speak Welsh with English being our second language. We work daily on the farm and have friendly cows, calves and a small flock of pedigree Texel sheep. Together as a family team we work hard to make sure that our guests have an enjoyable stay at the cottages and we are on call 24 hour a day.
