Luxury dog friendly holiday cottage near Snowdonia

Tucked away down a narrow single farm track, in complete seclusion, you'll find Hendre, a luxurious dog friendly farmhouse, perfect for groups. This gorgeous cottage offers utter peace and tranquillity - all you will hear is the sounds of the River Dwyfach meandering its way down to the sea, bird-song and the sheep in the surrounding fields. It's dark skies location is ideal for stargazing. 

The farmhouse offers a very large, spacious accommodation in 3 bedrooms, (two being double en suite) and 1 twin, an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs shower room with sauna. There's also a large lounge and spacious kitchen/diner with oak kitchen units. By request, occasionally, one or two quality single 'put-u-up' beds can be provided by arrangement.

A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are also welcome by arrangement and will enjoy exploring the surrounding countryside.

There is a sauna for you to relax in after a day spent enjoying Welsh adventures. Hendre is also just two miles away from the nearest restaurant and country Inn, and less than 5 miles from the castle-crowned town of Criccieth, with its scenic beach, golf club and interesting shops.

And within a 30 minutes drive to Snowdon Mountain Railway, Portmeirion, Harlech and Caernarfon Castles, Zip World and more!

Anwen Jones

Welcome - the Jones's Family are now the third generation to work and run the Rhos Cottages and have farmed the surrounding 180 acres for a very long time. We enjoy meeting people from all over the U.K and from other countries across the world. Anwen enjoys looking after the interiors of each cottage, while husband Bleddyn looks after the grounds. As a family we speak Welsh with English being our second language. We work daily on the farm and have friendly cows, calves and a small flock of pedigree Texel sheep. Together as a family team we work hard to make sure that our guests have an enjoyable stay at the cottages and we are on call 24 hour a day.
