Set in its own private 1 acre grounds in the beautiful Kent countryside near the famous medieval town of Sandwich and just over 1 1/2 hours drive/train from London. The beautifully designed interiors have been created to ensure you have the most lavish stay. Its large, open-plan living areas and extensive grounds and gardens provide the ideal space for gathering together and making precious memories. With a 8 meter swimming pool spa and hot tub as well as a gym and children’s play area, there really is something for everyone. Time for a game of chess or fancy some quality family time over a barbeque? There are numerous areas to choose from in the gardens, from the ever so popular pentagon shaped outdoor decking eating area, the rattan garden set under the pergola or just to relax on the oversized 3 seater garden swing, you will find a place to enjoy the country side and unwind. When it’s time to relax at the end of the day, the views of the sunset across the tranquil fields beyond are just spectacular. Birnam Retreat is accessible for wheelchair users. It is all on one level, with extra wide doors and a ramp leading to the main entrance, pool area and gardens. Should you wish to explore the area, walking trails begin from the doorstep , or you can explore all that Kent has to offer, including stunning beaches, water sports, shopping, dining and much more. And who can forget GOLF! There are many golf clubs in Kent, some of which host multiple Open championships. Royale St George's, Royal Cinque Ports and Prince's Gold Club are all within 20 minutes drive from the bungalow.
