Located in the heart of the Surrey Hills, Holly Cottage is off the beaten track while also being close to plenty of activities and villages. On the edge of a 200 acre grassland farm that rears pedigree Hereford cattle and accessed through the farm itself, the cottage is within the central part of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hundreds of acres of open access land can be found immediately on the doorstep with views available across the South of England from the top of Holmbury Hill, a 20 minute walk away. The cottage is also located conveniently within 1 hour of London. The cottage is equipped to hopefully ensure you have a wonderful stay. Features such as underfloor heating, coffee machine, plus welcome hamper + toiletries. The kitchen, dining room and living room provides an open plan format, with 3 bi-fold doors welcoming in the outside. The rest of the downstairs is comprised of a laundry room, WC and shower room and a separate snug (which occasionally can be a bedroom). Upstairs is comprised of a double and twin bedroom along with a main bathroom. Along with the luxury aspects there are plenty of other features to the house such as WiFi, washing machines, log burning fire, TV, enclosed garden, outside furniture and more. This former cowman's cottage has been lovingly renovated to create a peaceful holiday haven that is fully equipped for a restful stay. With numerous attractions, pubs and restaurants to visit locally and throughout the county, Holly Cottage is an ideal Surrey holiday retreat. The Surrey Hills has plenty to do, such as mounting biking cycling; bike hire available in Peaslake. Walking: The Hurtwood and surrounding Hills have hundreds of acres of footpaths and tracks to explore. Visit Guildford: the county town of Surrey. Major brands & restaurants + historic cathedral. Dorking & Godalming: a market towns with shops, restaurants and more. Coldharbour, Albury, Abinger, Hombury St Mary, Little London – pretty English hill villages with excellent pubs.

Surrey Hills Holiday Cottages forms part of Coverwood Farm, a third generation farming family run enterprise. Recent focus has been on developing the pedigree Hereford cattle business and the formation of a meat company called Provenance Cuts that supplies native naturally reared grass fed meat from the farm and other farms throughout the Surrey Hills. The holiday letting side of the business is run by Tim Metson and his wife Sara.
