Luxury property with 8 en suite bedrooms

Penblaith Barn has been restored, paying particular attention to detail using the finest craftsmanship, and includes large stone fireplaces, a sweeping oak staircase and oak floors. The barn retains the character and style of its traditional form, but with the comforts of modern living.

The ground floor comprises a TV room with games console attached to a large smart TV (with Netflix). There is an electric 'woodburner' with large comfortable sofas in addition to a table and chairs on which to enjoy the variety of books and games provided. There is also another lounge on the ground floor with seating for all. The 30ft dining room comfortably seats 20 guests around two large oak tables with gas 'woodburner' creating a cosy feel. Here China and glass for dinner parties are kept close to hand, as well as a fully equipped bar (including wine cooler, beer fridge, glasses, cocktail accessories/recipes & ice bucket) fridge, two dishwashers, a worktop area and utensils. An adjacent separate kitchen has a dishwasher, ample food preparation area and storage, fridge/freezer, range cooker, microwave and contains all other kitchen equipment needed. There is also a washing machine and dryer. The barn features eight en suite bedrooms including one family suite. The family suite on the second floor has a double bed as well as two comfortable day beds which are both standard single size.

There is a bedroom suite on the ground floor suitable for less able guests with two single beds and a wet room (the property is M1, M2, H1, H2 and V1 rated).

Four of the rooms have the option of two single beds which can be made into large doubles if you require. All rooms are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, towels, complimentary toiletries and TV.

From most rooms the stunning scenery can be appreciated looking over open farmland towards the Cotswolds. Impressive views, and star-lit night skies, can also be enjoyed from the large raised patio area overlooking the garden. It stretches the full length of the barn and has gas barbecue (May to October), a pizza oven, outdoor tables and chairs and Hydrotherapy Jacuzzi Hot Tub.

In the games room there is a pool table, table football and a ping pong table whilst in the generous gardens there is an additional flat grassed area ideal for sports.

There is ample onsite parking and three EV charging points (2 tesla and 1 universal).

Spoil yourself and organise a caterer from our wide range of recommended chefs, or perhaps a beautician, lazerclays or something different at the barn. There are also a wide range of activities, tourist attractions and pubs/restaurants nearby.

Penblaith Barn is situated 9 miles from the M50, which links to the wider motorway network making it easily accessible from all areas of the UK. It is five miles from our sister property Trevase Granary.

Sarah Pursey

The cottages are owned and managed by the Pursey family. Liz started the business in 2007, opening with Trevase Granary on the family farm. Penblaith Barn was added in 2010. Liz still runs the barns with her daughter Sarah and daughter-in-law, Amy, who is based at the farm.
