The Lodge, at West End Farm is the perfect base for explorers wanting to experience both Coast and Country. Stunning and luxurious, The Lodge is a very dog friendly holiday cottage. The perfect self catering holiday cottage getaway on the east coast for a family or group of friends, this cottage is set in the stunning grounds of a country home. With the smell of freshly baked bread as you open the door and together with a luxury hamper filled with local goodies you'll instantly feel at home. There’s a deep feather-filled sofa with views that will take your breath away, a smart TV, dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. Whichever of the 2 bedrooms you choose, your bed will be as comfortable as a cloud, with ultra-soft Egyptian cotton bed sheets layered with plump pillows and sumptuous mattress toppers. The master bedroom has a 8ft Ceaser bed, fit for a King and Queen. The second bedroom has twin beds which can be made into a super king if requested. The family bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet and sink. Why not fire up with barbecue, take in the views whilst enjoying a drink from the honesty bar provided. Explore the grounds in which the house has to offer. With an outdoor games and gym area equipped with a ping-pong table, rowing machine, and bike. Travel cot and high chair available upon request (bring your own bedding). There is ample amounts of private parking. Bike storage is also available. The Lodge can also be booked with West End Farm to accommodate 16 guests (we can provide Z beds for extra children if required). There is a pub and resaurant less than a 5 minute drive away into the neighbouring village, walkable if you have your walking shoes! You will be sure of a friendly welcome and log burning fire. The beautiful East Yorkshire coastline, only a few minutes drive away provides stunning views, clean beaches and cliff top walks, Including many unspoilt fishing villages such as Whitby. There’s also a great mix of galleries, antiques centres, quaint boutiques and inviting tea shops within East & North Yorkshire, not to mention the infamous Whitby Abbey to explore.
