Minnie's Cottage, front garden

Beautiful cottages in the glorious Yorkshire Dales

Askrigg Cottage Holidays is owned and run by Ken and Sue Williamson in the iconic Yorkshire Dales National Park village of Askrigg in Wensleydale.

We have two holiday cottages, Minnie's Cottage, sleeping 2, and Urlay Nook which sleeps 4, both in Askrigg. With an emphasis on quality, comfort and service, our holiday cottages are real homes from home. We pride ourselves on providing a personal and friendly service, we live in the same village so are on hand should you need us and we care about the small details that make your holiday special.

We will happily help you with recommendations for your holiday; the Yorkshire Dales has so much to offer. We have fantastic scenery, a rich heritage and thriving towns and villages where you can soak up the atmosphere. Not to forget the food here; most of it is locally sourced and home cooked, with menus and venues to suit all ages and wallets. If you love the outdoors then there is nowhere better with a fantastic choice of outdoor activities to choose from, whatever your ability and walks from the door aplenty. Or you can simply chill and enjoy the village with its 3 pubs/restaurants, micro-brewery, village shop, tea shop and deli, all within a couple of minutes walk of both cottages.

Meet the owner

Ken & Sue Williamson

We would like to welcome you to Askrigg Cottage Holidays and our beautiful self-catering holiday cottages in the glorious Yorkshire Dales National Park. We began our love affair with the Yorkshire Dales with our first holiday here in 1987 and bought a second home in Askrigg in 1995 (Minnie's Cottage). We moved here to live in 2000 and our family followed us shortly after, so we now have 3 generations living and working in Askrigg. Our ethos is to remain hands-on and family run and our gorgeous cottages are designed and equipped to the standards that we would want to find. We take pride in our cottages and providing you with the best holiday that we can. We think that we have a two very special and unique holiday cottages in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, and we feel very privileged to be able to live and work in this area, and to be able to share them with our guests.
