About & Contact

Luxurious barn conversion, fantastic setting

The stylish Bullpen sleeps two: pale walls and wood floors, rugs and pictures, lamps, cushions and throws. A large studio room, all on one level, is divided by an antique French screen into bedroom and sitting areas. There is a large separate shower room adjoining the bedroom area and a charming kitchen with direct access to a small garden where you can sit in the morning sun with a cup of tea and take in the views.

The beautiful eat-in kitchen is very well equipped, has underfloor heating with a halogen hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and all necessary appliances.

The bedroom area has a superbly comfortable super king-sized bed, which can also be configured as two twins, and wonderful countryside views. The adjoining travertine tiled bathroom has a powerful waterfal shower with large shower rose and a large washbasin.

The cosy sitting room has a comfortable sofa, armchair, writing desk, fantastic woodburning stove, SMART TV and Bose radio/CD player with iPod dock.

The Bullpen has everything you might need for a comfortable stay: fully controllable central heating, pure cotton bed linen, fluffy white towels, superfast WiFi internet access, hairdryer, hot water bottle, extra blankets, unlimited wood for your stove, even local maps. Your laundry can be done in the communal laundry just outside the door and there are fresh flowers and complimentary provisions to welcome you on arrival (artisan bakery treats, milk, tea, coffee, sugar plus other essentials).

**You will also have access to our bespoke guest app jam packed with local information, our personal recommendations, an interactive map and suggested days out.**

Although we do not accept pets in The Bullpen there are animals at Benallack Barn.

Reviews for The Bullpen at Benallack Barn

Meet the owner

Vicky Goldby

Cornwall is a magical place most of which remains quite untouched. Each area of Cornwall is very different; from the rugged West to the sub-tropical Roseland there is something for everyone and we love sharing our favourite places with our guests. Benallack has a special atmosphere; perhaps it's the medieval chapel which was here many moons ago, the roman field patterns at the bottom of the garden, the nearby ancient woodland or the view from 'The Bench' (the perfect stroll from the house). Either way we think it's a special place. There are two cottages that we ourselves would love to stay in. Both are individually furnished and include super comfortable beds with crisp white linen, a woodburning stove, powerful showers, well equipped kitchens and an artistic and cosy ambience. We hope our guests agree!
