Indoor heated swimming pool

Set in beautiful rural location close to the coast


Once discovered many guests return year after year to Bucks Farm. There are excellent onsite facilities, including indoor heated swimming pool, gym and large games room for all ages, and Electric Vehicle charging units. There is also plenty of outside space for play, with an activity playframe, trampoline and lots of sit-on toys.The surrounding farmland is ideal for walkers and those wanting to take the air and exercise pets directly from the doorstep. There are animals on the farm to help feed in the mornings, as well as sheep and cattle in the surrounding fields. 

However, if you can tear yourselves away, there are lovely beaches (Southwold 10 miles), delightful small towns and English Heritage castles to visit. Within a short drive or cycle (2 miles) pubs and restaurants which serve great food, either in local villages or in the pretty nearby market town of Halesworth, with interesting shops, Delis, supermarkets and a thriving Arts Centre.

The five cottages are light and fresh in the summer and wonderfully cosy in the winter; fully centrally heated with the addition of woodburning stoves. Usually sleeping between 2 and 7 people (plus cots), larger groups can also be accommodated. Swallows Rest and The Hayloft each have their own Hot Tub and private garden for that extra little bit of pampering. Equipped and furnished to a high standard, Bucks Farm offers four and five star cottages that provide a home from home. .

Luke & Nicola Andrews

Hello from Luke and Nic Andrews! We discovered Bucks Farm in 2017 and fell in love with it the moment we saw it. We've been holidaying in Suffolk for years with family who live nearby in Aldeburgh, and sailing regularly at weekends on the river Alde for more than 25 years. Giving up corporate and suburban life - we made the move from Teddington with our two children Alex and Izzy, and our dog Bertie. We also adopted the chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs and the ponies along with the farm – all of which you are welcome to help feed! We love the views and walks through the fields surrounding the farm, the fresh air, the tranquil and starry nights – and are pretty sure you will too. We look forward to welcoming you !
