A beautiful stone-built Grade II Listed Corn Barn conversion, with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The Corn Barn is one of four cottages at East Trenean Farm, offering high quality comfortable accommodation, with modern facilities and retaining original features. The four-bedroom cottage is ideal for families and friends, with private garden and luxury covered private hot tub. A place to relax in a ‘get away from it all’ location, yet only 3 miles from the fishing town of Looe and the beaches. Corn Barn is a two-storey cottage with an ‘upside down’ layout having original features including thick stone walls and exposed wooden beams. There are oak floors, doors and it is furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture, rugs, paintings and wall art. The spacious bedrooms on the lower ground floor all have double super king/king beds that can also be split into two single beds. Bedroom doors lead out into the courtyard garden and to the furnished walled patio area, a perfect spot for a morning coffee! The living areas on the upper ground floor enjoy views across the open countryside and access to the private garden. The modern kitchen is well equipped and includes the added luxury of an espresso coffee machine. The separate utility room has a handy washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge and dining area are comfortably furnished for large groups and the room has a feature woodburning stove for those cosy evenings in. The private enclosed garden is the perfect place to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine with a barbecue and glass of wine! The private large 8-seater covered hot tub with evening lights, is situated in the farm grounds, with fabulous views down the wooded valley to the sea beyond. Gowns are provided for the short stroll. It's a perfect place to relax! Families are welcomed and the cottage is suitable for children. For this with babies and toddlers we can provide items for your stay including a travel cot, highchair and stair gates. The paddock field has a play area for children with a range of swings including a baby seat, a ‘ship’ climbing frame with a play cabin below and a wave slide, football goals and plenty of grass to run around on or even play cricket and have a picnic! Our hens are free range and provide eggs for our welcome baskets. Our young visitors (and grown-ups) are welcome to help feed the hens each evening. Our guest car park has EV charging (cost included) and lockable storage for equipment such as bikes and kayaks.

We moved to East Trenean Farm and Cornwall in 2020. After being city dwellers we decided it was time for something new! We have 2 grown children, Jane has a background in teaching and Graham in engineering. We love welcoming guests to this beautiful location at East Trenean Farm and helping them to have the best possible holiday. We live on site in the Farmhouse, so are able to welcome guests and are on hand if needed. We are loving our new rural lives, exploring and sharing information about our best discoveries, with our guests.
