Charming ground floor cottage for 2 with sun room

Spoil yourselves in this charming all ground floor cottage, retaining many original features. The generous living accommodation makes this a perfect self-catering cottage for a couple or the single traveller and is an excellent choice for anyone wishing to avoid stairs or steps.

The entrance leads into a large, modern farmhouse-style kitchen with ample dining space (seating four, if you are planning to entertain friends or family). The living room seats four in comfort and has the additional charm of a log burning stove for long winter nights or atmosphere throughout the year. Smart TV/DVD. The bedroom offers a large walk-in en suite shower. Your bed can be configured as twins or super king - just indicate your preference when you book.

Cosy underfloor heating and log burner.

Enjoy our new, sunny conservatory. Outside you'll find an attractive patio area and parking for one car close to the cottage.

One small dog is welcome.

Meet the owner

John, Angela and James Foster

Field House Farm at Heritage Escapes has been our family workplace and home now for six generations. We're glad to share our part of the countryside with you and feel sure you'll enjoy your experience of East Yorkshire. We're blessed by living in a lovely rural location, very close to the sea, and only a stone's throw from the spectacular scenery of Flamborough Head, Bempton Cliffs and Bridlington's miles of safe, sandy beaches. We live onsite, so we're around to give any help you might need or point you in the right direction to a holiday attraction or lesser known beauty spot. Our son, James joined us in 2015, with his young family and they live nearby. Fiona and her team of housekeepers couldn't be more loyal, hard-working and friendly. You'll see all of us going about our daily tasks and we're always on hand should you need us. We're still very much a working farm, now predominantly arable, with a few cows and chickens.
