Living: a small flight of steps to entrance and to open plan living/dining area. Deep, comfy sofa and three armchairs, with cosy log burner and a modern flat screen television.
Dining: sleek, U-shaped kitchen area with dining table seating 6. Stairs to ground floor bedrooms, with integral stair gate at the top.
Sleeping: bedroom one, king-size double and space for cot. Doors to small patio. En suite shower room, with WC, small hand basin and heated towel rail.
Bedroom two, smallish room, twin beds. No space for a cot, unless one of the beds is not in use. It is possible to remove the mattresses and bed slats from these beds, and place a cot within each bed frame, if required.
Bedroom three, twin bunk room with level L-shaped cabin beds, suitable for under 12s only. Space for a cot.
Bathing: bathroom with shower over, WC, basin and heated towel rail. En suite shower room in double bedroom. Fully centrally heated throughout, with underfloor heating.
Outdoors: French doors from dining/sitting room to enclosed, decked roof terrace with rattan table and chairs and lovely views over the grounds and surrounding hills, to Dartmoor National Park. Wall-mounted barbecue. Parking in general parking area behind the cottage.
At your disposal are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hot tub, sauna, steam room, championship size tennis court, 14 acres of beautiful grounds, riverside walks and devon trails on your doorstep along with an array of great cafes, restaurants/pubs to eat in and relax. Dartmoor is a 30 minutes drive away with waymarked moor walks or miles of rambling for those more adventurous, and the cycle route 28 passes the properties entrance, taking you all the way to the Salcombe Estuary.
The cottage is super baby, toddler, and child-friendly with built-in stair gates, travel cots, high chairs, booster seats, baby baths, children's cutlery, food blenders and other child-friendly touches along with soft play area and playroom and an outdoor adventure playground.
There is so much to do and explore in the area, being so close to an amazingly beautiful coastline, stunning beaches and the chic waterside towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe, not to mention an abundance of attractions to suit all ages ... South Devon is the perfect destination.
For culinary explorers try the Seahorse at Dartmouth, the Elephant in Torquay, or a little further away the Michelin starred Gidleigh Park.
For walkers, you will find miles of trails and tracks on your doorstep, the beautiful South Devon Coastpath and the wilds of Dartmoor.
