Northbrook Arms has three fantastic luxury, dog friendly cottages. Whether you’re looking for a staycation destination or visiting friends and family you’ll love visiting the beautifully county of Hampshire. All three cottages have cosy log burners, fully equipped kitchens, comfortable lounges and ensuite bedrooms. Each garden has seating area and barbecue. Off road parking with EV Charging and village pub on site. The cottages can be booked together for family reunions, get-togethers or celebrations. Private dining area can accommodate large groups within the restaurant next door. Direct from the door is a fantastic walk that you can take through East Stratton and Brown Candover using Northbrook Arms as your starting and end point (10.25 KM or 6.75 miles (2.5 hrs depending on walking speed)) and then pop next door for a draught lager or a G&T. Northbrook Arms is situated 8 miles North of the historic city of Winchester and close to Portsmouth, Southampton and the south coast. There is so much to do with a range of choices of local attractions giving you plenty of things to experience and enjoy whilst you are here - wine tasting, guided cycling tour and Ice sculpting. Spend the day at Marwell Zoo, Paultons Park and Micheldever Woods. Visit King Arthur’s Round Table and Jane Austen’s House, the Gun Wharf Quays for shopping and take ferry trips to the Isle of Wight. Whether you are an adventurer, an explorer, creative, or just after some relaxation, there is something for everyone.
Adam and Kate Shanley purchased the closed Northbrook Arms pub in April 2019. Since then they have gone through an extensive build and development project to get to what you see today. The site features a collection of luxury self catering cottages alongside a village pub that has a stunning glazed restaurant and private function room.
