We’ve crafted an environment where everyone can unwind and create lasting memories together.

Glenhunter comprises two adjacent cottages and sleeps 14 people; Glenside (3 bedrooms, sleep 6) and Hedgehunter (4 bedrooms sleep 8).

Soothe your mind and body with exclusive access to the beautiful indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi and hoist. The infrared sauna, and steam room, are also available to use during your daily bookable swim sessions.

Rejuvenate in your hot tub while taking in the countryside views across the breathtaking Meon Valley towards The Solent. And viewing the canopy of stars on clear evenings from the hot tub is an experience not to be missed.

Discover our huge Games Room on rainy days (or any other day!), and check out our onsite honesty shop offering gifts, soft drinks and frozen farmhouse kitchen meals.

Take a trip out to Marwell Wildlife Zoo and visit the Mary Rose at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - both are accessible attractions and 30 minutes away from Wallops Wood.

Accommodation

Cosy up by the woodburner and enjoy the underfloor heating while spending time with your loved ones.

Each stylish cottage has an open plan living area and can dine up to 12 people (or more with an additional dining table, upon request).

Enjoy the high quality and fully equipped kitchens which include dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, washer-dryer and Nespresso coffee machine.

All bedrooms are en-suite with large showers and one of the en-suites will be a bathroom in each cottage. Blackout blinds and curtains ensure a restful sleep, and the comfy beds can be configured as either twins or superkings.

Enjoy the tranquillity of the rural setting from the individual enclosed gardens which have a hot tub, patio, garden furniture, barbecue in summer, and small lawn. Gates open onto to our 7-acre meadow where children and dogs love to explore.

Up to 4 dogs are welcome (2 in each cottage) and they receive their own doggy welcome pack including new toy to keep.

Superfast WiFi is provided free of charge.

And we offer EV charging. The charging point is located in the main car park and accessed via the VoltShare App. kWh units are charge at 50 pence.

Accessibility

Hedgehunter is accessible and the large accessible wetroom includes a height adjustable basin.

Our thoughtfully designed accommodation features wide doors, level access throughout, waist-height sockets, wheelchair space beneath the dressing table, spacious interiors for ease of movement, and accessible pathways.

Choose from a sling or moulded seat for the hoist which provides access to the Jacuzzi and pool for accessible guests.

Meet the owner

Andrew & Katherine Graham

We look forward to welcoming you to our cottages at Wallops Wood. Katherine’s family have been farmers here since 1938. In 2013/14 we converted a 1950s farm building on the site of the Old Hambledon Racecourse to form 5 of the cottages. In memory of this the cottages are named after Grand National winners. The 6th cottage is a refurbished farm manager's cottage. The 7th and 8th cottages plus indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi with accessible hoist, converted from a second 1950s farm building, were completed in May 2018. We've tried to create a real home-from-home, with the emphasis on 'access for all' irrespective of age or physical ability. We are very lucky to live and work in such a beautiful part of southern England, with so much to see and do locally year-round, and we enjoy sharing our knowledge and enthusiasm for the area with our guests. We have a great team to help us, and everyone will do everything they can to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.
