Impeccably styled and delightful barn conversion

The vaulted ceilings and tall stone slate-built fireplace are the stars of the show in this rustic yet luxurious cottage. Immaculately presented and laid out on two floors plus a cosy mezzanine level, there is plenty of space to relax and unwind. An upside-down layout, sleeping 4, with both bedrooms on the ground level, each with full en suite.

The main living area showcases products from the local area and foraged foliage from our bountiful surroundings. The Haystore has been designed to create a stylish retreat for your family and friends in which you can gather around the log burning stove or at the bespoke eight-seater dining table to share stories, play games or simply relax.

Large French doors lead out to an enclosed elevated terrace, perfect for taking in the views and sipping wine on a balmy summer evening whilst watching mother nature turn the sky many different shades of orange and pink as the sun sets.

Slip away and escape to the snug on the mezzanine, where you will find lots of cosy blankets, books, low lighting and a small speaker to listen to relaxing music.

Facilities include a very well equipped kitchen, unlimited WiFi, woodburner, beautiful furnishings, underfloor heating, bike storage, highchairs, Smart TV, Amazon Alexa with Spotify, Bluetooth speaker, outside tap and utility area.

Situated on the outskirts of the lovely village of Ravenstonedale with its excellent pubs and beautiful walks The Haystore is dog friendly and a wonderful location for families.

Both bedrooms can be arranged as super king or twins and The Haystore can be linked via an interconnecting door with The Byre to allow up to 8 guests to stay together.

Carly Caveney & Richard Duckworth

Carly and Richard - A story of adventure, a love of property and the outdoors. As avid travellers to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, a seed was sown many years ago about running an accommodation business in rural Northern England. We purchased The Green in 2020 after falling in love with the barn that had been painstakingly converted with the support of a local architect and craftsmen several years before. Carly has always had a passion for renovating houses and interior design and over the years she has worked on many renovation projects. But she wanted The Green to be different and has created a place in which guests can immerse themselves and relax in the cosy, nature inspired interiors. Richard has a passion for the hills and mountains and he gained his Mountain Leader qualification in 2019 which seemed to go hand in hand with our move to Cumbria. There is nothing he likes more than taking groups out for memorable days in the hills and is able to offer a private guiding service to guests .
