Secluded within hundreds of acres of an organic family-run hill farm, Airhouses is an exclusive collection of 7 luxurious, high quality, self-catering lodges, all with private hot tubs. All the properties have been designed with space and privacy in mind.
Airhouses has space. Space to relax, to breathe and to be in the countryside. We have been open for over 15 years and we work to incredibly high standards of quality, cleanliness and customer service.
You can choose from five-star self-catering lodges or romantic glamping pods, each with their own private hot tub. On the farm you have a chance to meet our incredidably cute and friendly animals. Near to the lodges are the donkeys, alpacas, sheep, goats, geese and Shetland ponies. Further afield, and accessible via fenced walks, are our herd of rare breed Shetland cattle. We farm in partnership with nature, so have encouraged an abundance of wildlife to make Airhouses their home and you are likely to spot deer, brown hares, buzzards, foxes, and if lucky, our shy badgers, the barn owl, kestrel and a huge array of bird life. There is lots of space to explore and enjoy.
Airhouses is located in the gorgeous Scottish Borders, just 20 miles south of Edinburgh. We are ideally placed for exploring both the Scottish Borders with all its history, market towns, abbeys and castles as well as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. We also have Museums, Abbeys, Beaches, Walks, Golf, Fishing, Food Trails, Farmers Markets, Quirky shops, Edinburgh Zoo, Mountain Biking, Cycling, great Festivals and so much all on the doorstep.
Airhouses is also about peace and calm. It is about taking time out of busy lives to slow down and appreciate the beauty all around. It is also about choice. You can choose to visit the bustling city, thrill seek on mountain bike trails, or cosy up in your lodge or hot tub to watch the skies changing. You can choose to amble around the farm talking to our animals, and then sit on your decking watching the sun set over the hills.
The lodges are all equipped to a very high standard, and we are renowned for our outstanding cleanliness. Sumptuous linens, dressing gowns, towels, slippers and toiletries are provided along with Smart TVs, Bluetooth speaker and 5G WiFi. Our onsite Farm Shop stocks local produce and handy high quality ready meals for easy cooking during your stay.
We love dogs! All our lodges are over a mile from a public road and have a gated decking area. There are lots of walks around the farm for your dog and even a livestock free meadow for some free running fun. A little further afield, there are numerous parks, open spaces and beaches. However, due to the high standard of our housekeeping team if you are not a dog lover you would never know one had been in the property before you. They are also asked to be on leads around the lodges and farm steading area.
