About & Contact

Dog-friendly Cornwall cottage with outdoor pool

Peacefully positioned, close to the ancient Fogou, in the centre of the estate, the thatched Doctor’s Cottage dates from the 16th century and retains its original character although modernised to Trelowarren’s high standards.

The cottage has an open plan living area comprising the kitchen with feature period fireplace, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, dining and sitting areas with a second fireplace. A wood burner supplements the electric heating system. Utility room with washing machine and cloakroom. 

Upstairs in the cottages, there's a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a second double bedroom with en suite shower, and a further double bedroom with two single beds, en suite shower. The beds in the second double bedroom can be zip and linked.

There is a large garden with fruit trees, trellises and lawns. The gym, ozone pool, tennis courts and the New Yard Restaurant are a short walk away. We are huge dog lovers here at Trelowarren, and you can bring two well behaved dogs to Dr's Cottage, however, please follow our dog policy to ensure you, your pets and our other guests have a happy holiday!
