Away from it all, in the historic centre of the estate, Fogou Cottage, dating from the 16th century, stands close to the unique underground monument it is named after. It retains its thatched, period charm but has been modernised to the standards of Trelowarren. The dining and sitting rooms are conveniently combined and open plan. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a separate children's’ room with tv, and a downstairs loo. Heat is supplied electrically and there is also a wood burner. Like our other properties, there is a home entertainment system and a widescreen Smart TV with DVD. There are three double bedrooms, the master being en suite and the others sharing a separate bathroom. All the twin beds can be ‘zipped and linked’ if required. There is a large and secure garden on both the south-east and north-west sides. Explore 1000 acres of orchards, woodlands and living history, where traces of the Iron age and Neolithic era are found. Seek out the hidden cyan sea at Kynance Cove, where serpentine rocks rise above crystal clear waters. Or stay at home and take a swim in the heated pool, within walled gardens lined with olive trees. All of the cottages are dog-friendly, and there's even an award-winning restaurant and a Walled Garden Spa on site.
